What is ALS?
what is als
Lou Gehrig’s disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), is a devastating and heartbreaking condition that affects thousands of people each year. This disease is a progressive neurological disorder that attacks the nerve cells responsible for controlling muscle movement. As a result, those with ALS gradually lose the ability to move, speak, and even breathe.
Living with ALS is a daily struggle, both for the patients and their families. The physical and emotional toll of this disease is immense, and it can be difficult to find hope in the face of such a devastating diagnosis. However, despite the challenges, those with ALS continue to persevere, finding joy and strength in the love and support of those around them.
At our foundation, we are dedicated to raising awareness about ALS and supporting those affected by this disease. We work tirelessly to fund research to find a cure for this disease, and to improve the quality of life for those living with ALS.
We understand the pain and heartbreak that comes with a diagnosis of ALS, but we also know that there is hope. We believe that together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease. We invite you to join us in our mission to find a cure for ALS, and to support those living with this condition with compassion and understanding. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against ALS.
